Hey all. I recently saw some idiot trying to sell this method (Making an "unbanning" service) and decided I'd write a quick guide on it. It is rather simple and straightforward, so this won't be an overly long guide.

Also, please note that this guide is temporary.

There is a chance Jagex will remove this, so do it now before it gets changed.

Some random facts:

-This is temporary
-There is no sure guarantee it will work
-Nothing happens if you don't get unbanned (No risks, etc)
-You need to have a member account. (Or a friend who has members)


Guide in a nutshell:

Basically, what you're doing is posting your name of the Account Review thread. Jagex then re-reviews your account, and after a certain period of time, sends a message to the account being reviewed, saying whether or not they are unbanned or not. They go through each offense, no computers involved, so if you got say a rule 1 that really was bullshit, it'll be removed. Also note that just because they remove some black marks doesn't mean you'll get unbanned for sure. They could remove one but there could still be a substantial amount on your account.


Now, on to the real, slightly more descriptive guide.


The only requirement for you to do this is have a member account or know someone with a member account that will do you a favor. If anyone wants, I can always post for you, all I need is the name. You can post it here or PM me it.

Step One.

Go to the Runescape forums. Find the general section. There should be a sticky named "Account Review Thread."

Step Two.

Post your account name. Do not post an explanation, a suicide threat, nothing. Simply your name.

Step Three.

Wait! It can take anywhere from a few hours to quite a few months for your account to be reviewed, all depending on the manner of the offenses and the degree of each.

For me personally, it took me over 5 months to get my old main unbanned. That's right, I posted in early September and just got unbanned today!

Accepted or not, your account will get a message. It will look something like this:



Success Stories.

As stated above, I got my old main back today. He is lvl 108, and I hadn't logged into him in 651 days. I now have a 111 / 120 [No summoning on each] - but it's nice to have my old account back.

Here's a picture (lol at my IP. Back when I had AOL Dial Up. It's 2+ years old, don't bother doing anything with it)
