Rune Pure: Hot or Not

You see tons of these throughout runescape. High strength levels at low combat levels, these are pures. There are Iron Pures, Black Pures, Addy Pures, and Rune Pures. But I think Rune Pures don't make sense. If your going to do that why don't you just make it a main? Rune Pures in my veiw have no point. How about you?

i disagree highly. rune pures ARE like mains but they still own. they can quest without difficulty and pvp without taking alot of damage. Rune pures are some of the best pures that have been made.

There's no point to make a pure now (in RS2).
It was fun back in Runescape Classic.

Back in the wildy days, this was the advantage:


Advantage:

At 1 defense, your stats will be much higher.

Disadvantage:

You have no extra strength bonus, and you die quickly to good specs.


Rune pure:

Advantage:

With 45 defense, you can have MAXED strength bonus. That's right, if you're not a complete idiot, you can get barrow gloves, rune defender, torso, berserker helm, and fire cape at 45 defense.

Disadvantage:

Your stats may be slightly lower than those of 1 defense pures.



In the end, rune pure would win.

More strength bonus, more defense.

The strength bonus makes up for the few stats lost.


Now, however, any pure besides tank ranger is completely useless due to BH.
