Article: How Jagex makes their content.

There are methods and ways of how JAGEX LTD, Creators of RuneScape, make their content. One of the most common is that they make their own RAW JAVA, and make their own class files, others say they use their own system, and they just need models, etc.
Jagex uses both methods, Raw and Preset JAVA. JAVA is the language RuneScape is written in.
RuneScape has many Java hooks, in the latest private servers, the latest client has about 164 classes, pretty amazing. The sockets it takes to load this thing. They really put time and effort into how they make their content, with music developers, graphic designers, etc.
RuneScape for shops always uses the Jagex editing system. Made by their own programmers, PROs of course. :) If we could get our hands on that software, then alot of things could be added in private servers such as your own penguin equipting their own Dragon armor.
